National Bank donates $50,000 to support people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic around the world

Montreal, May 3, 2021

National Bank today announced a $50,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, including in India. Members of the public who would like to donate to the Canadian Red Cross campaign can do so on the organization's website.

"Through this donation, we are contributing to the international effort to support communities that have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic," said Louis Vachon, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank. "For instance, many of our employees and clients are members of the Indian community. Our thoughts are with them and all other people directly or indirectly affected by this situation."
