online bank also apply when you access online services through
Interac ® Sign-In Service.
The only information National Bank provides to Interac
® Sign-In Service is a random number generated when you
first sign in. Every time you use the Interac
® Sign-In Service, this same number is used to establish a
secure connection. Your personal data and sign-in details are never
exchanged during the process.
Interac ® Sign-In Service acts as an intermediary
between the various online services you access and the sign-in
partners you choose. Since the connection is established through
Interac ® Sign-In Service, none of the online
services know which sign-in partner you've used, and none of the
sign-in partners know which online service you are accessing.
