How do I send money from my National Bank account to my Natbank account?

Here's how to send money to your Natbank account.

From your web browser:

  1. Sign in to your online bank.
  2. Click Recipients, in the left menu.
  3. Click Create a new recipient, then select International transfer.
  4. Enter your Natbank account information. To transfer funds to your chequing account, select Current account as the account type.
  5. Enter 067091764 as your ABA code.
  6. Then enter the information as it appears in your Natbank file to complete the creation of the recipient and transfer the money.

From your National Bank app:

  1. Sign in to the National Bank app.
  2. Click Transfers at the bottom of the screen, then International transfer.
  3. Click Select recipient, then Add recipient.
  4. Click Continue once you've read the information on how international transfers works.
  5. Confirm your information and follow the steps.
  6. Enter your Natbank account information. To transfer funds to your chequing account, select Current account as the account type.
  7. Enter 067091764 as your ABA code.
  8. Then enter the information as it appears in your Natbank file to complete the creation of the recipient and transfer the money.

Important

  • Your Natbank chequing account number consists of 9 digits and can be found on your Natbank cheque specimen or on your Natbank bank statement.
  • You can only make international transfers from your bank account in Canadian dollars.
  • To make a transfer from your bank account in U.S. dollars or if you need help sending money to your Natbank account, visit a branch or contact us at 1-888-835-6281, Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday, between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (ET).

Good to know

To transfer to a savings account, create a new recipient and select Savings account as the account type, as savings and chequing account numbers differ.

Please note that a fee of $5.95 applies for each international transfer.
