Why am I receiving alerts about my National Bank credit card?

You can receive email alerts about your National Bank credit card when:

  • The available credit on your card falls below $100, or the pre-determined amount of your choosing.
  • A transaction on your card exceeds a pre-determined amount of your choosing.
  • Your payment due date is approaching.

With credit card alerts you can:

  • Stay up to date on your finances.
  • Simplify how you manage your card.
  • Avoid any surprises, fees and deadlines.

Good to know

  • If you have a joint credit card, only the primary cardholder will receive alerts.
  • We sometimes send alerts by text message to notify you of late payments, from 262-898 (NBC-TXT).

We’re required by law to send you an email alert to inform you when the available credit on your credit card is less than $100. You don’t have to give your consent to National Bank to receive them. You can deactivate these alerts if you wish.
